About This Course:
The Travel and Tourism Services course teaches students how to plan and conduct sustainable domestic tourism services, with special emphasis on group tours. Students will also learn about various tourism activities and services. An in-depth study of this field is essential for the personnel in this industry, especially tour guides, who serve as the country’s representatives in presenting the culture and traditions of the nation.
Objectives:
- Provide students with knowledge and skills in tourism and hotel management in line with the Lao PDR and international standards
- Encourage students to be creative, to be able solve problems and to perform professional tasks at the level they have completed
- Build students’ interpersonal skills, morals, and work ethic
