About This Course:

The Hotel Services course focuses on the dynamics and interaction between different hotel functions working to ensure that all aspects of the hotel runs smoothly and efficiently. Students of this tourism course will have the opportunity to learn about the travel behaviours of individual and group tourists, analyse them, and apply what they have learned in a professional setting. The hotel and tourism industry is important to the socio-economic development of the country and skilled talent is needed to deliver professional services and to elevate the local industry towards global standards.

Objectives:
  • Provide students with knowledge and skills in tourism and hotel management in line with the Lao PDR and international standards
  • Encourage students to be creative, to be able solve problems and to perform professional tasks at the level they have completed
  • Build students’ interpersonal skills, morals, and work ethic
