Vientiane Province – Food Processing and Services 4 Month Short Course (C1) – Details

About This Course:

This Food Processing and Service course will teach students about the preparation and cooking of food in accordance with principles of hygiene and nutritional value, as well as learning about food and beverage services, which are at the heart of the restaurant business. In addition to the services and the atmosphere that will impress guests, the taste of the food and beverages must satisfy them so they return again.

Objectives:

• Provide students with knowledge, skills and experience in line with professional standards in order to carry out professional work effectively to suit the needs of the labour market
• Provide students with encouragement to be creative, solve problems, and able to perform professional tasks at the level they have completed
• Build students’ interpersonal skills, morals, and work ethic

Enrollment Conditions:

• Completion of Primary School or Higher

• prepare and store materials, equipment, and ingredients for food cooking and processing in accordance with proper procedures and methods (with particular emphasis on Lao Food)
• work in restaurants and hotels
