About This Course :

Studying to be a Kitchen Hand is about learning how to support the duties of the head chef. The Kitchen Hand is responsible for preparing the ingredients and tools, cleaning the equipment and other facilities. Kitchen Hands are very important in increasing the efficiency and speed of cooking, which contributes to the smooth operation of the kitchen.

Objectives :

• To identify the ingredients used in Lao cuisine 
• To have an appreciation of the principles of food preparation pertaining to Lao cuisine and its nutritional benefits
• To be aware of the processes and procedures used in the preparation of Lao cuisine
