About This Course:

The Food Processing and Hotel Operations course teaches cooking and food and beverage service, as well as various aspects of hotel services that provide students with comprehensive skills in this line of business. Front Desk work in the hotel and restaurant sector is another important task that helps increase guest satisfaction and loyalty.

Objectives:

Acquired Knowledge and Skills:

On completion of the course, students will have learned how to:

  • use tools and equipment for cooking, food nutrition, starting a small business, and the art of service
  • cook unprocessed foods and sweet foods, and make health beverages 
  • arrange flowers and decor
  • carve fruits and vegetables 
  • sew and craft ceremonial materials and objects, and banana leaf crafting 
  • clean rooms, change bedding,  and decorate various types of rooms, welcome and serve customers the correct way, fold napkins into different shapes, set tables, and arrange table presentation
  • work in restaurants and hotels
  • open a restaurant
